WILDLIFE PAINTINGS
I like to experiment using different mediums and styles
Bird painting has been by main Wildlife subject for over 40 years although I do paint
a wide variety of natural history subjects and incorporate landscapes and other subjects
within my paintings.
I am current looking a how tone and especially grey can be used on oil painting to
create atmosphere and lead the eye around the painting, so watch this space.
I have a studio and gallery in the historic town of Helston but try to get out in
to the field as much as possible. Its important to know your subject as much as possible
in all kinds of conditions not only does it inspire it is crucial for portraying
any subject.
